HAY LOOK GUYZ!! BOTCHY REALIZM!!11 see, this is a pic in which I try too many new things at once and consequently crap out on everything.
Dear Doctor Who fandom,
Rah rah rah, look who isn't just a leeching lurker of your wrinkly yet vintage goodness? Look who just contributed? THAS RIGHT ME HAH
Right, so. Everyone come over here and lemme introduce you to young!Master aka Koschei according to the books which may or may not be canon according to who you ask. He is hot, if in a sort of off-his-kilter, malicious, Theta-loving sort of way. (Oh dear, is my OTP showing? Darn these skimpy pretenses of neutrality ! Don't they make them in bigger sizes? Full body bhurkas?)
Playing off the may-or-may-not-be fanon (depending on who you ask) notion that Time Lord necks are erogenous areas and given that Koschei is a young!Doctor-loving Time Lord with maybe too much of a libido on his hands... cough. Right. Awkward for everyone on my friendslist. Onwards then.
That's Gallifrey in the background; yes, everything's supposed to be orange, it's not actually my colorblindness this time. The brownish blobby thing you can't really see on the right side of the screen is the Mt of Silence/Solitude, not a pile of turd.
Other notes (oh who saw the list format coming? Raise your hands people, come on):
- The glowing black pillar things actually have colors and textures on them...if you want to see them (as if you care!) do tell me so I can have a pretense to post cross sections of this pic enlarged.
- On the same note, check out the very, incredibly faint Seal of Rassilon on the chair!
- I am very proud of the glass and the pitcher. I don't care if they're anachronistic/out of place. Piss on your time period.
- He's not wearing eyeliner. That's called a crappy coloring job.
- Do you like my copout on drawing a reflective floor? So do I!
And now I have a confession to make: this was originally to be King Philip II of France from "The Lion in Winter" but I figured no one would ever look at a picture of King Whatshisnameagain? from the 12th century based on a 1960s play about Richard the Lionhearted even if he is incredibly hot. So therefore I pulled up a fantastically short list of Who Else This Bearded Dude Could Be and came up with The Pagan Chronicle's Roland and DW's The Master.
Yeah. Sorry Rolly, I just like the Master better.
